HALFLINGS
Halflings are simply those of mixed race. Seeing as their parents are from two completely different races, halflings will age differently than their parents. For instance, if one parent is a race of human and the other is a race of elf, the elf parent will age faster than the human parent. Their offsping's aging pace will be somewhere in between. The same goes for their life expectancy. For instance, if an Elendil elf were to have a child with an Aarasi human, their child would have a life expectancy of around 112 to 113 years.
When an elf produces offspring with a human, the child's ears will be just slightly pointed. Also, the elven eye colors, compared to human eye colors, are dominant, giving a half elf child a higher chance of having gold or silver eyes. The same can be said for the fae. These dominant genes, ears included, will weaken through each generation.
